Dear Readers, I write this column for one reason: to bring something real and relevant to the public each week that truly helps young people and their families. There are over 40 million teens and young adults in this country, many with serious issues that they don't talk to their parents about.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. To keep us going, I am asking you for $5—not much more than an order at Starbucks.
If each reader gave just $5, we can stay in business and expand the column to newspapers across the nation. We have a modest operating budge of only $150,000 per year. With this, we touch 100,000 readers each week in 23 newspapers, providing hope, light and answers. In comparison, each year California spends $125,000 per year on each juvenile offender. For almost the same price, we have the potential to keep thousands of juveniles making better choices and living more productive lives.
We’re real. We’re relevant. We’re helping youth. Thank you for supporting us with a $5 tax-deductible donation today!
Blessings and love,
Lauren
